A submersible is a type of underwater vessel used in research and exploration by oceanographers, scientist and explorers.
This advanced kit introduces students to Marine Architecture, Marine Engineering and the sciences associated with these fields. Pair with lessons related to buoyancy, Archimedes Principle, electrical circuits, controlling electric motors, pressure, Newton’s Laws, volume and mass calculations at appropriate levels.
As a challenge, students can figure out how to pick up a metal object using a magnet or move the submersible in a certain direction.
