NEW DESIGN! This motor consists of an electromagnet (made from a coil of insulated copper wire on a steel rod), [2] magnets, a reed switch and a battery.
Students will learn about magnetic forces, electromagnets, simple motors and circuits. Students can design and create the spinning disc to demonstrate mixing colors, and moving images.

Requires snips or Kre8® Cutter (283653) as well as assembly, measuring and cutting.
NOTE: Kre8® kits can be assembled in regular classrooms. Kits may require hand tools, advanced assembly and adult supervision.
