The KELVIN® SUMO Wrestler® Competition Incorporates Engineering, Designing, Math, Goals, Tools, Electronics, Teamwork, Scientific Application, Problem-Solving and Innovation. Students plan, build and test battling robots that can compete in classroom or school sponsored competitions.
Students draw their own plans, use tools and machines from the school lab and test their projects before actually competing. Students can add elevators, springs, bumpers and a second level base using spacers. On the second level, students can add a wireless controller, reciever, battery, circuit board, robotic arm, flipper or elevator.
Kit includes motors, plastic gearboxes, gear sets, bases, wheels, traction bands, tether control, axles, washers, nuts and written materials. Requires a controller. MS to HS.
