Activities provide students with a step-by-step guide for installing and configuring a HTTP, FTP and PHP enabled server.
The Internet Information Services (IIS) included with the Windows package is a reliable, powerful and a scalable web server. When configured, it will provide concurrent connections for up to 10 users when hosting one domain. When a FTP server is installed, the system becomes remotely accessible for uploading and downloading files. With the PHP extensions installed, students will be able to utilize this scripting language option.
