KELVIN® is proud to introduce our new series of hands-on Low Voltage Labs. These specially designed experiences take the mystery out of every day technological systems found at home.
Each lab comes with a portable table top work station, step by step instructions, explanations, theory and assessments. The supplied curriculum is student friendly and geared for general education not vocational study.
The Low Voltage Electrical System offers children, grades 6-12, the opportunity to see into the walls of their home and discover how electrical energy is supplied for their use.
Help you students solve the mystery of:
- Where does electricity come from?
- How does it get into our home?
- How is electricity distributed through the home?
- How do we make electrical energy safe?
- How are circuits created?
Using KELVIN®’s EXCLUSIVE proprietary low voltage DC system, students will safely wire AC components (such as outlets, switches, breakers, a dimmer switch, light fixture and a ceiling fan) for practice with DC voltage. Assembled Trainer.
