Quickly assemble your educational solar car, no glue, no nails—just fun! Connect an electric motor to the solar cell and convert the sun’s energy into electricity for power.
The solar cell is adjustable so it can be made to face the sun directly. The electric motor connects to a rubber band mechanism to reduce speed and provide adjustable steering for the front wheels. Top clips into place. You can design your own top or use the design provided.
After assembly, students will observe the transfer of light energy, to electricity, to mechanical energy using a pulley system. Lessons can tap into topics such as energy forms, alternative energy, electrical circuits, calculating speed, aerodynamic designs, drag and indoors.
