Make the motor to spin as fast as possible! This motor consists of an electromagnet (made from a coil of insulated copper wire on a steel rod), two magnets, a reed switch and a battery. Students can decorate the spinning top as they want. Students will learn about assembly, power, friction and the importance electric motors.
