INCLINED PLANES and WEDGES:
Grade 2: Lab gives students awareness of the specific Simple Machine mechanism, and what force feels like.
Grades 3 and 4: Students can take measurements and record the information about the machines working at an analysis level.
Grades 5 and 6: Students work with acquired numbers and use math to determine mechanical advantage.
Lab includes enough materials for one student to complete experiements for the Simple Machines Lab.
