Design and build a small catapult with a 7-1/2 in. long base. The swing arm can be made up to 12 in. long. This kit weighs 0.3 lbs. Determine which catapult is capable of launching ping pong balls the farthest or the highest. An additional challenge is to try and hit a target in the room. Requires design, drilling, cutting and assembly. Grades 6-12.
