Design and create structures, vehicles and machines using student made frames, gears, levers, pulleys, wheels and axles. Give your students the opportunity to design, plan, measure, construct and test their ideas with working models. Assembly is required so students will have to drill, cut and glue their projects.
Kit includes: pine wood (3/8 in. sq. and 3/16 x 1/2 in.), dowel rods (3/16 in. dia.), twine, chipboard wheels (1-1/2 in. dia.), tubing, printed cardboard axle mounts and triangles as well as a Lesson Guide (650511).
Requires drilling, cutting and gluing as well as Gear Jig, Joint Jig and Cutting Jig and other hand tools.
