Teachers can construct this economical version of the Low Voltage House Wiring Trainer from a kit. It requires wire stripping, frame assembly, and circuitry assembly.
Help your students solve the mystery of: Where does electricity come from? How does it get into our home? How is electricity distributed through the home? How do we make electrical energy safe? and How are circuits created? Using KELVIN®'s EXCLUSIVE proprietary low voltage DC system, students will safely wire AC components (such as outlets, switches, breakers, a dimmer switch, light fixture and a ceiling fan) for practice with DC voltage.
Each lab comes with a portable tabletop work station kit (teachers will need to construct it), step by step instructions, explanations, theory and assessments. The supplied curriculum is geared for general education not vocational study.
REQUIRES ASSEMBLY BY TEACHER. When assembled, measures 20 x 36 in.
