The new Soy Biodiesel Chemistry Education Kit includes: Equipment,  Thin-layer chromatography plates, silica gel with plastic backing,  LDPE reaction bottles (250 ml),  transfer pipettes (1.7 ml),  micro pipettes (2µl),  centrifuge tubes (50 ml),  laboratory lamps with fiberglass wicks and a lab manual. The spiral-bound Lesson Manual includes extensive teacher and student background information, chart aligning lessons to National Science Education Standards, student lab sheets, experiment analysis and discussion questions, student pre- and post-evaluation materials and a Teacher’s evaluation form.
Please note that liquid chemicals needed for the test are not included but can be found in your school’s chemistry lab. You may use vegetable oil to make diesel fuel.
